  • Essential Duties:

    -Support community management of corporate/division Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok accounts by posting valuable content and interacting with followers.

    -Create, execute and maintain Division, community and consumer specific social media pages.

    -Brainstorm monthly social media content, new ideas and ways to increase our following.

    -Research and evaluate competitor social media strategies.

    -Support with the design and execution of social media marketing campaigns.

    -Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the coordination of marketing activities.

    -Conduct market research and employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data.

    -Update spreadsheets, databases.

    -Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.

    -Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market.

    Qualifications & Skills

    -Experience with social media management tools.

    -Familiarity with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva).

    -Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    -Self-motivated, creative and determined individual.

    -Detail-oriented with editing and proofreading skills.

    Requirements

    -Interest in Marketing.

    -Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

    -Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.

    -Knowledge of market research techniques and databases.

    -Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications.

    Job Type: Part-time

    Average 20 hours per week

    Meet with team in a videoconference once a week and teleconference with once a week with a pre-scheduled team member weekly.

  • Responsibilities:

    - Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages

    -Maintain and improve website

    -Optimize applications for maximum speed

    -Design mobile-based features

    -Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability

    -Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers

    -Write functional requirement documents and guides

    -Create quality mockups and prototypes

    -Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting

    -Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

    -Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

    Requirements:

    Able to work 5-10 hours per week *remotely*.

    Must provide and use personal laptop throughout the duration of the internship.

    Must have knowledge of online marketing tactics/channels.

    Excellent verbal and written communication.

    Capable of working efficiently in teams.

    Strong time management and organization skills.
